Aloo Ghobhi Masala |

- Cauliflower cut into pcs - 250 grams
- Potatoes - 3 medium sized
- Onion - 2medium finely chopped
- Tomato - 1 cup finely chopped
- Ginger/garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - a pinch and Chillie powder -1 tsp
- Coriander powder -2 tsp
- Garam masala -3/4 tsp
- Oil - 1 1/2 tbsp
- cumin seeds -3/4 tsp
- Bay leaf -1
Method
- Cut potatoes into cubes. Heat a little oil in a pan and medium fry potatoes till golden brown, add a pinch of turmeric powder and salt to the potatoes.
- Cut cauliflower and blanch it in water. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and bay leaf. When cumin seeds gives aroma, add finely chopped onions.Fry well till brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a few more minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes.
- Then add spices i.e salt as taste ,turmeric powder,chill powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder.
- Saute till tomatoes turns soft and leaves oil.
- Then add the blanched cauliflowers, shallow fried potatoes and cook it dry till patatoes and and cauliflowers become soft.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
