Punjabi kadhi Pakora
Punjabi kadhi pakora is a curry with gram flour ,sour yogurt ,onion and patato fritters ( pakoras) and seasoned with spices, usually served with plain rice.

Ingredients:
For Pakore or (fritters)
5 tbsp Besen
1 medium finely Chopped potato
1 medium finely Chopped onion
1 green chili finely chopped
1 tbsp (Coriander leaves)
1 tsp Red chili powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
Oil for deep frying
Salt As per taste
For Kadhi
1 cup sour Curd or dahi
2 1/2 tbsp Besan (Gram flour)
2 Dry red chili whole
1/2 tsp cumin seeds( jeera)
1/4 tsp methi dana (Fenugreek seeds)
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Red Chilly Powder
2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
2 medium onions
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1 tbsp Coriander leaves
2 tbsp Oil or ghee
How to make pakora:
1.Mix all ingredients for pakora include basen, salt, red chili,garam masla and coriander leaves .
2.Now add 1/4 cup of water to the mixture to make thick batter . better should be coated onions and potatoes.
3.In a heavy bottom pan heat oil for frying . When oil is hot drop small quantity of mixture in the oil till golden brown drain then and keep aside .
Method for kadhi
1.Take a bowl put yogurt and mix gram flour in it put 2-3 cup of water as well . Put turmric powder ,red chillies, and salt in this and beat properly so that there is no lumps remining.
2.Now in a pan heat oil ,dry red chilli ,cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds .When they begin to sputter add ginger garlic paste .Fry for 15- 20 secs and then add chopped onions .
3.Immediately add kadhi mixture followed by water if kadhi is too thick.Let it cook on medium fair for about 10-15 minutes.
4. when kadhi is well cooked then add the pakoras, garam masala, crushed kasoori methi, and again simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5. your Punjabi kadhi pakora is ready to serve ,garnish with finely chopped corainder. Serve kadhi with plain rice .
