There are two types of anesthesia one is local and other is general Local anesthesia is normally sufficient and when we have general anesthesia we can't do any even for 2-3 days because with this type of anesthesia patient feels sleepy so its good to have local anesthesia always... Still, some patients dread .Is it possible patient won’t wake up or Can anesthesia cause complications. Patients should deal with their worries. It’s important to have a talk with the anesthesiologist before surgery . The talk should be about all concerns like .Who will be present during surgery? Who will be taking care of me? and How will I be awoken? Having family members or relatives is especially important for patients at any kind of risk . This risk is particularly high for elderly patients after cardiovascular surgery, or after long operations.
