Soya Chunks Nuggets


Often served for snacks with chai in Indian households.This recipe has a mixer of Indian spices. It is a very popular street food and starter item at weddings and parties.

Recipe by Balvinder Kaur

Ingredients:

1. Soya chunks - soaked
2. Besan/ Gram Flour
3. Vegetable Oil
4. Garam Masala
5. Vinegar
6. Garlic, Ginger and Chilli
7. Coriander
8. Salt

Method

For Marinate:
1. Blend Garlic, Ginger, Chili and Coriander into Mixer to prepare Paste (Keep some paste to be use later in recipe)
2. Take a Bowl and Add Vinger
3. Add Paste and mix it
4. Add soya chunks, stir it and keep aside for 20-25 mins
5. Take a bowl, Add Besan and Paste
6. Add salt acc. to taste. Mix it well
7. Add the Marinated Soya chunks and mix it properly
8. Take a Fry Pan,
9. Add Vegetable oil or you can use olive oil also.
10. After oil gets heated, Slow add the Gram flour coated soya chunks.
11. Wait till it get brown. Remove it on Napkin so that excesses oil will be removed.
12. Serve Hot with tomato sauce or Pudina chutney.
