Ingredients
Yogurt-2 cups
•Chicken,Cut into 12 pieces on the bone 750 grams
•Fennel seeds -1 teaspoon
•Onions,sliced-3 medium
•Ginger-garlic paste-1 tablespoon
•Green chilly, slit-1
•Coriander powder-1 tablespoon
•Cashewnut paste-1/4 cup
•Saffron-a pinch
•Salt acc. to taste
•Green cardamom powder-1 teaspoon
•Fresh cream-4 tablespoons
Method
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add fennel seeds and onions and saute till onions are golden. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli, coriander powder and chicken pieces, mix well and saute for four to five minutes.
Add yogurt and cashew nut paste and mix well. Saute for eight to ten minutes. Add two cups of water, saffron and salt. Mix well and cook for five to six minutes. Add the cardamom powder and cream, mix well and cook for half a minute. Serve hot.
