Butternut squash is sweet, nutty taste like pumpkin with yellow skin and orange fleshy pulp. When ripe, it turns increasingly deep orange, and becomes sweeter and richer.

1 It contains anti-oxidants and vitamins.It has low-calorie which provides just 45 calories per 100 g. It contains no saturated fats or cholesterol so rich source of dietary fibre .

2It is rich in B-complex group of vitamins like folates, riboflavin  niacin, vitamin B-6 , thiamine.

3. Rich in mineral like iron, zinc, copper, calcium, potassium, and phosphorus.

4.Rich in vitamin A . Vitamin A is good eye sight ,mucus membrane and tissue formation and protect lung and oral cavity cancers

5.The seeds are a good source of dietary fiber ,protein and minerals. The seeds are an excellent source of health promoting amino acid, tryptophan.
